Cara Wilde
White blossoms with golden centres glow against sweeping mauve forms and a deep indigo background.
In Velvet Blooms, Cara Wilde brings together three luminous flowers, layered pink and purple forms, and slender green foliage. The dark background gives the pale petals a striking presence, while softly blended colour brings depth and movement to the composition.
Working from her Auckland studio, Cara combines rich colour, soft layering and refined composition to celebrate expressive floral forms. This painting invites a quiet connection with the natural world through colour, light and graceful detail.
This work would bring colour and calm to a living room, bedroom or entryway, with its light timber float frame complementing natural furnishings and neutral walls.
