A garden remembered through colour, movement and feeling.
Inspired by Adrienne Rewi’s own summer garden—a joyful extravaganza of perennials and annuals—this abstract work captures more than its physical beauty. Layers of soft pink, fresh green, warm ochre and deep burgundy overlap in a lively composition, suggesting petals, stems and seed heads without defining them completely.
Expressive marks move across the surface like plants competing for light, while quieter passages create moments of pause and reflection. The result carries the abundance of a garden in full bloom, but also the peace and happiness found by spending time within it.
Its balanced square format brings colour and warmth to a living room, bedroom, entranceway or creative space. It works beautifully as a joyful focal point or alongside another expressive abstract piece.
