Rangimārie

$1,200.00

Danny Forrest

A lush, hand-sculpted moss oasis inspired by the quiet moments amongst life’s busyness.

Rangimārie is the first artwork in Danny Forrest’s Korowai O Te Ngahere collection. Its fuller moss growth on the left distinguishes this piece, with trailing greenery, tiny leaves and richly textured forms spreading across a warm woodgrain background.

Inspired by the abundant mossy landscapes of Aotearoa, the collection has also become a reflection on motherhood. Within the chaos and overstimulation, Danny finds moments of stillness that allow her to pause and appreciate the beauty of the journey. Rangimārie, meaning quiet and peaceful, gives sculptural form to those moments.

Display it in an entranceway, living room or reading corner, where its intricate details invite closer looking. It holds its own as a standalone piece or can be displayed alongside Aumārie and Wakamārie from the collection.

Lush · Intricate · Peaceful
Collection Korowai O Te Ngahere Hand-sculpted polymer clay on round MDF board 38.5 cm diameter × 1.7 cm wide White wooden frame made by Glynn Berland Art artwork secured within the frame using Command Velcro strips
