Wild grasses rise beneath a pale sky in a landscape softened by light.
In Pale Skies, Wild Grasses, green, muted pink and earthy red marks suggest grasses moving across the foreground. A soft, luminous sky and gently receding landscape create a sense of stillness.
Rebecca combines layered watercolour blends with oil pastel detail and thicker applications of paint. Subtle shifts in colour and loose gestures leave the location open to interpretation, inviting the viewer to bring their own memories to the scene.
With its soft greens and delicate pinks, this painting would bring a peaceful touch to a living room, bedroom or hallway.
