Heaven is a delusion-2

Harinder Rajpal

A vivid blue circle meets warm striped curves, creating a bold interplay of colour, rhythm and space.

In Heaven is a delusion-2, Harinder Rajpal contrasts orange and black vertical stripes with a deep navy field and an electric blue circle. Sweeping curves, yellow corners and layered red and pink borders bring warmth to the composition, balancing angular structure with rounded forms.

Working in reverse with oil paint on glass, Harinder builds his geometric compositions through layers of colour. Part of his Heaven is a delusion series, this work explores the relationship between faith and doubt, inviting viewers to reflect on the beliefs and perspectives they bring to the image.

This painting would bring a striking focal point to a living room, study or reading nook, with its rich palette complementing natural timber, warm upholstery and dark walls.
