Heaven is a delusion-1

Harinder Rajpal

A luminous white centre rests within a vivid red circle, balanced against teal and fine golden borders.

In Heaven is a delusion-1, Harinder Rajpal creates a striking geometric composition through layered shades of red, a cool teal background and precise gold, yellow and maroon outlines. The pale central circle offers a quiet focal point within the intensity of the surrounding colour.

Working in reverse with oil paint on glass, Harinder explores the relationship between belief and scepticism. The white centre suggests a traditional symbol of spirituality, while the surrounding forms invite viewers to consider their own ideas about heaven and the intangible.

This painting would bring warmth and visual clarity to a living room, bedroom or entranceway, with its red and teal palette complementing neutral walls, natural timber and gold accents.
