Rachel Barber
An expressive abstract painting alive with colour, movement and the feeling of being surrounded by nature.
Rachel Barber’s Forest Bathing brings together fresh greens, golden yellows and soft blues in a richly layered composition. Sweeping dark lines weave through broad passages of colour, while drips, looping marks and small gestures invite the eye to wander.
The painting reflects Rachel’s intuitive, colour-led practice and her connection to gardening and the natural world. Its overlapping forms suggest foliage and shifting light, leaving room for your own associations and discoveries.
Its horizontal format makes it a lovely focal point above a sofa, sideboard or dining table. A whitewashed pine float frame gives the lively surface a light, simple finish.
