Aumārie is the second artwork in Danny Forrest’s Korowai O Te Ngahere collection. A flowing band of moss-like forms stretches across the circular composition, with rounded green leaves, pale cascading foliage and dark textured folds set against a warm woodgrain background.
Inspired by the mossy landscapes of Aotearoa, the collection also reflects Danny’s experience of finding quiet moments within the busy journey of motherhood. Aumārie, described by the artist as harmonious and peaceful, invites you to pause and discover the intricate forms sculpted by hand in polymer clay.
