You Will See Me

VILL∆IN$

A spiral eye and bursts of electric blue give this vivid orange painting an insistent, expressive presence.

In You Will See Me, VILL∆IN$ places a distorted face among layers of orange, red, green and pale lilac. Long, boldly painted forms radiate from the head, while uneven teeth, mismatched eyes and scattered handwriting draw attention across the canvas.

Working intuitively with acrylic paint and Posca markers, VILL∆IN$ combines faces, symbols and spontaneous marks in what he describes as “organised chaos.” His paintings act as forms of self-portraiture, capturing his inner world while inviting viewers to discover their own meanings.

This painting would bring warmth and bold character to a living room, entranceway or creative workspace, displayed alone or alongside other collected works.
