Two bold leaf-like forms stand against a softly textured centre and deep teal surround.
In Tribal, Sue Anson brings together strong black shapes, fine linear details and a pale, fibrous-looking surface. Hints of teal appear within the forms, connecting them to the richly coloured border.
Inspired by an appreciation of texture and bold structural shapes, Sue uses mixed media to create a composition that balances graphic lines with a softer, tactile appearance.
Its long vertical format would bring colour and texture to a hallway, bedroom or above a sideboard.
Textural · Bold · Organic
Mixed media · 30 cm wide × 60 cm high × 1.5 cm deep · 2022
