In Tūī 3D Layered Silhouette Wall Art A3, warm brown timber forms the bird and its gently curving perch. White accents reveal fine feather markings, delicate blossoms and the tūī’s recognisable throat tuft, bringing crisp detail to the silhouette.
Designed, made and finished in Andrew’s Helensville workshop, the piece combines a stained birch plywood overlay, white cast-acrylic middle layer and dark grey stained plywood backing. The three layers create depth and shadow around the bird, leaves and flowers.
This piece would bring natural warmth and a connection to Aotearoa’s birdlife to an entryway, living room or study, complementing timber furniture and soft neutral walls.
