Narrow Neck Beach

$350.00

David Prentice

Golden light meets textured rock and softly moving water on Auckland’s North Shore.

Captured at Narrow Neck Beach in April 2024, this photograph draws the eye from a rounded rock pool towards the glowing horizon. The rough shoreline contrasts with the softened sea, while warm light brings depth to the scene.

David Prentice combined two photographs to create the image: a 50-second exposure for the wider landscape and a 15-second exposure to retain the subtle circular movement in the rock pool. Together, they capture both the stillness and motion of the coast.

This piece would bring warmth and a coastal connection to a living room, bedroom or quiet reading space.

Textural · Golden · Reflective

Composite long exposure photography A2 (42 × 59.4 cm) 2024 Limited edition of 10 Unframed
