In Flowing Twilight Lotus Blaze, Logan Bow brings together wisps of blue and purple across a dark, glossy surface. Curving folds open upwards, suggesting a lotus form, while reflections reveal the colour and depth within each flowing plane.
Using his volumetric origami technique, Logan transforms flat acrylic sheets through folding, forming and controlled heat manipulation. Part of his Flowing Blaze series, this work explores movement and balance, with a silhouette that changes as you move around it.
This small sculpture would bring depth and sculptural interest to a sideboard, shelf or entranceway console. Each Blaze is individually shaped, making it a one-off work with its own form, texture and character.
