Soft pinks, blue skies and delicate grasses capture a quiet moment at dusk.
In Dusk on the East Coast, fine marks in green, muted pink and earthy red rise through the foreground, suggesting grasses against a softly receding landscape. Layers of colour and loose gestures create a scene softened by light and memory.
Rebecca combines watercolour blends with oil pastel detail and thick layers of paint. The location is left open to interpretation, inviting the viewer to bring their own memories to the work.
With its gentle colours and atmospheric quality, this painting would bring a sense of calm to a bedroom, living room or hallway.
