Abstract

Edie Chappell

Layered, expressive and rich with colour.

In Abstract, Edie Chappell explores the relationship between colour, shape and spontaneous mark-making. Vibrant coral and electric blue sit alongside deeper plum and earthy tones, creating a richly layered surface that reveals something new with every look.

Large organic forms suggest flowers or leaves, while fine pink lines, repeated dots and smaller graphic marks travel across the composition. The combination of bold shapes and delicate details gives the work both energy and a sense of movement.

At 380 mm square, Abstract is a versatile smaller work that can be displayed alone or paired with another of Edie’s colourful pieces. It would add warmth and personality to a bedroom, entranceway, home office or gallery wall.

Colourful. Textured. Full of movement.
