Artemis -Anne-Marie Jones
A richly textured landscape constructed piece by piece through colour, pattern and touch. 2026
In Mountain View, hundreds of small fragments of collaged paper gather to form a striking imagined landscape. Deep blues and turquoise create an expansive sky, while layers of ochre, rust and green build the land below.
At the centre, a simple white felt form rises from the surrounding colour. Its quiet shape suggests a distant mountain, creating a strong focal point against the intricate mosaic-like surface.
Anne-Marie works across mixed media, collage and illustration. Here, variations in printed paper, tone and texture transform the landscape into something tactile and unexpected—familiar from a distance, yet filled with small discoveries when viewed closely.
Textural. Playful. Immersive.
